The Journal of Business Sectors (JOBS Journal) has a distinctive title that cannot be confused with any other journal, nor can it mislead potential authors or readers regarding its origin or any association with other journals.
The European Centre for Economic & Social Research (ECESR) is the owner of the journal and covers its operational needs from its own financial resources. ECESR has the legal form of a civic association and is funded through donations from legal and natural persons, as well as through research grants. ECESR does not interfere with the editorial independence of the journal. Further information about ECESR is available on the Centre’s website.
The JOBS Journal is not authorised to receive funds from advertising or any other income. Direct marketing activities undertaken on behalf of the journal, particularly those aimed at attracting high-quality manuscripts, must be appropriate, proportionate and conducted in accordance with the standards of scholarly publishing.
ARTICLE PROCESSING CHARGE

The journal does not have article processing charges (APCs), nor article submission charges.
To further strengthen dissemination and accelerate scholarly communication, the Journal is adopting a continuous publication model. Under this model, articles will be published on an ongoing basis upon completion of the editorial process, without being tied to a fixed issue release date. This approach enables faster publication following acceptance, increases visibility and readership, and enhances citation potential by making articles available online sooner. This change is intended to ensure that high-quality research reaches the scholarly community as promptly as possible.

OPEN ACCESS
All articles are published under an open access model pursuant to the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International Licence (CC BY 4.0). This licence permits the unrestricted use, distribution and reproduction of the content of published articles in any medium, provided that the original source is duly acknowledged and cited, including the original author(s), the title of the article, the title of the journal and other relevant bibliographic details. The licensing terms are stated in the full text of all published articles.
The Journal of Business Sectors adheres to the strictest open access criteria as defined by SPARC, PLOS and OASPA.
In particular, the journal:
• grants readers the right to read all articles immediately and free of charge;
• grants broad rights for the reuse and remixing of published articles;
• allows authors to retain copyright without restriction;
• allows authors to make any version of the published article publicly available without delay in any repository or on any website;
• automatically makes all published articles available through trusted third-party repositories;
• enables publicly available access to published articles, metadata and data, as well as citations, through an API.
All necessary article metadata are submitted to Crossref in order to comply with the I4OC standards for open citations.
COPYRIGHT
The author(s) must agree that the published version of the article will be made available on the journal’s website in PDF format before the article is issued in print. This consent is granted by the authors through the corresponding author in an electronic form provided by the journal.
Authors retain copyright in their articles, except for images and other third-party materials that are subject to copyright held by their respective owners. Authors may freely distribute and reuse their articles in subsequent publications, provided that the original publication is properly cited.
